Maxine’s Fireweed Bistro is pleased to announce the grand opening of our new Solarium Dining Room.  This dining room features natural light, a mural by artist Margret Hugi-Lewis, and a retractable roof for summer dining. 

Maxine’s Fireweed Bistro offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere, using the freshest of local ingredients.  Owned and operated by Chef Robert Lewis, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.  Everything at Maxine’s Fireweed Bistro is made from scratch – from our house baked bread and flat breads, to every sauce and sorbet.  Newly located in Anchorage, many of your favorites from our previous Girdwood location have made the move to Anchorage, as well as a host of new culinary surprises.
