Maxine’s Fireweed Bistro offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere, using the freshest of local ingredients. Owned and operated by Chef Robert Lewis, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Everything at Maxine’s Fireweed Bistro is made from scratch – from our house baked bread and flat breads, to every sauce and sorbet. Newly located in Anchorage, many of your favorites from our previous Girdwood location have made the move to Anchorage, as well as a host of new culinary surprises.
